Four Bears Fountain

The Marin Circle Fountain, also known as the Four Bears Fountain, in located in the middle of a roundabout where seven streets meet in the lower Berkeley Hills. The original fountain, which was destroyed in the fifties by a runaway truck, was the City of Berkeley's first public work of art.  In 1996, thanks to the fundraising of the Friends of the Fountain and Walk, the restored fountain was dedicated.  Yay.
